Community Training

Community health workers

International House of Hope is training individuals from the local community as community health workers to help bridge the gap between their communities and access to health care and healthy life-styles. These community health workers will aid in the continuity of care, which is so vital in the management of chronic illnesses.

They would provide culturally appropriate health education and information, assist people in receiving the care they need, and provide some direct services such as first aid, blood pressure and blood sugar screening.

Assistance with this project is greatly needed. If you can volunteer as an instructor or teacher your services would be greatly appreciated.
